As a dust cake forms, it further boosts the mechanical filtration, maintaining high levels of filtration throughout the filter's life-cycle.
The filters are made of moisture-resistant cotton fibers and sturdy paperboard. Their electrostatically charged pleated design, with 14 pleats per linear foot creating a larger surface area, outperforms standard fiberglass filters in capturing harmful airborne particles. The pleats are radially configured for proper dust loading, and the media is thermally glued to an expanded metal backing to prevent sagging during use. Encapsulated in a heavy-duty die cut beverage board frame, the cartridge ensures filter integrity even in high moisture applications. The cartridge is glued to the peripheral interior of the outer face, and the die cut is internally glued to the pleat apexes, guaranteeing maximum endurance under adverse conditions.
